We are looking for a talented Systems Administrator who can maintain Information Technology strategies by managing IT infrastructure, researching and implementing technological strategic solutions for Hardware and Software, and providing day-to-day IT support and services to the entire organization.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICS:
Minimum 5 years of network and Sysadmin experience within a Windows Server environment. Linux experience is a plus
Experience in planning and administration of a mix of Hardware and software storage solutions, SAN (NetApp, Nimble, Tegile) NAS, and DAS
Experience architecting and troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, Office 365
Experience in NetSuite is a must
Experience with VMware ESX 6, Switches, Wireless Access Points, and Firewalls
Experience with Powershell scripting, automated deployments, and mass imaging
- Determines requirements, designs, installs, and maintains server hardware, operating systems, software, scripted procedures, computer management, programming, and operational support tools on organization-wide computing systems.
- Maintains security as well as staff access to information and data.
- Maintains and monitors performance, capacity, and availability of organization-wide computer systems.
- Provides technical leadership, training, and consulting related to computer systems, their applications, and uses.
- Supports production control and operational activities.
- Supports application development activities.
- Manages computer system assets and software licensing.
- Analyzes, detects, and corrects complex technical problems and deficiencies.
- Manages medium and large-scale information systems projects.
- Consults with management for system needs, design, and operations.
- Provides assistance and direction to other Information Technology personnel.
- Maintains working knowledge of current industry information, vendor direction, new products, and technical architectures/approaches related to organizational needs.
- Plans, designs, and implements additions, upgrades, replacements, or retirement of computer, network, database management, telephone, or application systems.
- Plans, designs, and implements system architectures and IT policies and procedures.
- Participates in long-range information technology planning and budgeting for computers, system software, networks, and/or application systems.
- Performs capacity planning for computer, network, database, and/or application systems.
- Provides technical support for IT acquisition and implementation. Provides business and technical advice; recommends policies and procedures; and consults with clients on projects.
- Maintains reliable backup and recovery policies and procedures. Performs related duties as required.
- Assists with Product Server Staging and Delivery process for product fulfillment.
- Plays R&D role in analyzing different Hardware and platforms for the company’s products and services.
- Makes recommendations and does analysis of emerging technologies and trends to assist Product Development.
- Support Sales Engineering and Product teams with hardware Bill-of-Materials design, creation, and analysis to meet Customer requirements.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs to support racking of server and networking equipment to support production.
- Limited travel for NAB trade show in Las Vegas once a year.
Salary range DOE: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00
