Newport Beach, CA – April 3, 2014 — Bitcentral, dedicated to open news production, management and publishing solutions, announced it will be unveiling new products once again at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention in Las Vegas. At NAB 2014, Bitcentral will debut its CORE Active Panel which brings efficiency and streamlined workflows by enabling users to drive critical media production processes from within their most familiar tools – newsroom computer systems. The announcement was made today by Fred Fourcher, Founder and CEO at Bitcentral.
The CORE Active Panel is comprised of two primary components. CORE Active includes a simple to use dashboard panel that powers the surfacing and management of raw, works-in-progress and finished assets. Bitcentral’s Active Video Wires is an innovative feature that further enables discovery by allowing users to create custom alerts and wires creating automated notification. Ultra-simple media transport and publishing is possible via drag-and-drop from within the newsroom computer system.
“We are excited to bring this embedded and unified media control to the industry. Our customers have come to us asking for this level of integration as it is not available anywhere else,” Fourcher said. “By remaining laser focused on bringing the best tools to journalists in the field, everyone in the newsroom, teams in the control room and digital producers, we are able to create unequaled efficiency at the right system total cost of ownership.”
The initial release of the CORE Active Panel includes support for both AP ENPS and Avid iNEWS.
Bitcentral will be showcasing its complete line of solutions at NAB 2014, April 7-10, in the South Hall, Booth SU5510, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
