Bitcentral Inc., a provider of media workflows for linear TVs and CTVs, today announced management team changes.
Steve Petilli, long-time Bitcentral board member, becomes CEO; Fred Fourcher, Bitcentral’s founder continues his role as chairman of the board; and Sam Peterson is now COO.
Fourcher said: “It’s our aim to deliver industry-leading media workflows for linear TV broadcast and the streaming media market. Our expertise allows media publishers to simplify the production, asset management, distribution, and monetization of video content to broadcast and streaming audiences. “The appointments of Steve and Sam, who both have track records of operational business success, will see them work together to ensure that our solutions continue to meet all customer needs.”
Petilli has been deeply involved with Bitcentral for over two decades as a member of the board. He has high-level expertise and experience in streaming and watch party platforms, wireless services, and linear broadcast. He founded, built, and sold several high-tech companies including Pivotal Technologies and Networks in Motion. Petilli serves on multiple company boards, is an investor in Bitcentral and a limited partner in several venture funds.
New COO Peterson has directed all activities for Bitcentral’s foundational solutions, which included product management, development, and quality assurance. Prior to joining Bitcentral, he spent 20-plus years in leadership positions at large, industry-leading corporations, holding management roles across automation, playout, news production, live production, and streaming.
