The integration brings MXT multimodal and gen AI indexing technology to Bitcentral’s Oasis MAM platform
The partnership integrates Moment’s Lab’s MXT-1.5 multimodal AI with Bitcentral’s Oasis media asset management (MAM) solution. Utilising Moment’s Lab’s public application programming interface (API),
Oasis users are able to access AI-generated metadata, including human-like descriptions generated by what MXT-1.5 sees and hears in the content it views.
The Moments Lab API analyses media files held either on-prem or in the cloud. Assets are processed by MXT 1.5 which detects a range of content such as faces, text, landmarks, logos, context, shot types and more, generating semantic descriptions to enhance searchability. The output can be reviewed and validated in either Moments Lab or directly in the Oasis MAM, said the company.
The combined solution aims to enhance operations such as news production workflows, enabling remote teams to quickly and easily connect from the field.
